This is a microscope specialist support post to support and develop innovative imaging approaches. It is primarily to support users of a Wellcome Trust-funded customised multi-photon microscope designed for imaging cells in living organisms. The role of the specialist is to run and maintain the microscope, to train users in its use and to optimise image acquisition and analysis protocols for interpreting data. Additionally, the specialist will support image analysis for users and develop new analysis approaches in the new Microscopy Innovation Centre. The post is centrally funded for 2 years.

The selection process will include a competency based question, a presentation and assessment along with a panel interview.

For an informal discussion to find out more about the role please contact Dr. Robert Knight at [hidden email] <mailto:[hidden email]> or on 020 7188 1798.
