The free exhibition will not only offer a huge range of free microscopy training opportunities but will also Europe's largest microscopy and imaging exhibition! www.mmc-series.org.uk Alongside over 100 manufacturers and suppliers to speak to, the Microscience Microscopy Congress exhibition will play host to a large number of free learning opportunities taking place each day from Tuesday 4 – Thursday 6 July. From strain mapping to LED illumination and sample prep to in situ microscopy there are plenty to choose from, each going towards helping you achieve the most accurate and reliable data possible. The Seminar Theatre will again host its only daily timetable of introductory talks including a few new presentations for this year such as Light Sheet Microscopy, Journal of Microscopy Author Workshops and Developing your Career. You can view the seminar programme at www.mmc-series.org.uk/learning-zone Poster Village Filling the back of the exhibition, the poster village is where you will find over 150 posters submitted to the mmc2017 conference. The work spans all disciplines in both physical and life sciences and many detail some really interesting cross-disciplinary collaborative work. You can browse the posters at any time during the mmc2017 and can discuss the research with the authors during the poster sessions from 4pm on the Tuesday and Wednesday. Satellite Meetings As well as all these exhibitors and opportunities open to day visitors, you also have the option of attending one of the daily satellite meetings: - FREE Cross Disciplinary LM and EM Meeting – Monday 3 July, Central 5,6,7 Designed to bring together a wide variety of imaging scientists to share best practice and agree joint initiatives. - FREE FIB & EM Prep User Group Meeting – Tuesday 4 July – Central 4 Providing an open forum for FIB and EM specimen preparation equipment users to share advances, discuss best practices, exchange tips for preparation of difficult materials and learn about new developments. - FREE NEUBIAS BioImage Analyst Community Meeting – Wednesday 5 July, Central 4 This meeting will explain NEUBIAS aims and activities and start to build a coherent UK bioimage analyst community. - BMTA Seminar, Optical Measurements in Industrial Inspection – Thursday 6 July, Central 4 This seminar from the British Measurement and Testing Association will offer laboratory and test house managers the chance to find out more about optical, microscopic and SEM techniques used in materials inspection.
