Hello folks,

I am looking for a dye for blood vessels labeling in the blue emission
range. Any suggestion. Cascade blue did not work well in our hand and i did
not find any dextean conjugates in blue color.

Thanks,
ManOj

Dear Manoj

Depending on the category of blood vessels you are interested in, most of them  contain elastin (but not capillaries) and this can be easily visualized by 2P -flourescence λex 700-750 (nm)- so you would not need any additional labeling. A more detailed classification could be performed by a combination of SHG for collagen and 2P fluorescence for collagen vs elastin as arteries and arterioles have mush thicker walls than venes and venules as well as  lymph vessels.

Dagmar
