Hi everyone
Please suggest me a software to use for measuring the distance between two
points in a 3D image. The image has a big sphere which contains multiple
cells. I want to measure distance between two spots in each of these cells
which make up the sphere. Also, collectively look at all the distances
measured in the entire sphere simultaneously.
I hope I am not too vague or confusing,
thank you for all the help and suggestions!
regards
megha

Hi Megha,

You can use IMARIS software. First you have to convert your 3D z-stack to
surface surface rendering. Once you have the surface projection you can do
any type of measurements using the IMARIS software.
http://www.bitplane.com/imaris

But its a paid software, it may be available at con-focal facility.

Hope this is useful.

Best regards,
Bikram
