Hi,
We have an olympus fluoview fv10i confocal microscope. Now we have a problem that when
we turn on the machine, the green light can not stop blinking which means that it cannot
finish the initiation of the confocal. Does anyone know what happens? Thanks a lot!
Best regards,
Lili

Hi Lili,

With the scope fully off try to clean round metal leads on the bottom surface of sample
holder and corresponding connections on the microscope frame with some alcohol. We had a
similar problem due to oil spills and simple cleaning helped. Also check if you have the
same issue with other sample holder(s) if you have them. Hope you will bring it back to life!

Best,
Z.

Re: olympus fluoview fv10i

Hi Zbigniew,
Thank you for your suggestions.  I will have a try. Normally we don't put the sample holder in when we initiate the confocal. Does it matter?
Best,
Lili
