Our client - IST Austria - is a new graduate research institute which is located in Klosterneuburg (18 km from the Vienna city center). It performs basic research in the natural sciences at a worldclass level. www.ist.ac.at As exclusively assigned HR consultant we are looking for a "manager of the bioimaging and optics core facility". Your responsibilities: • Set-up of a facility equipped with excellent optical microscopes and image analysis tools • Management of the facility (personnel, equipment, organization, maintenance) • Providing training and advice to users • Evaluation of new technologies of potential interest for the facility • Evaluation of potential novel imaging technologies in collaboration with research groups • Organization of practicals for graduate courses Our Requirements: • Diploma in natural/life sciences or engineering related to optical imaging • Excellent knowledge and experience in optical microscopy and ideally image analysis • Excellent managerial and administrative skills • Good communication skills in English We offer: • A multifaceted position in a challenging international environment • Competitive salary including generous social benefits and opportunities for further education and training • Unlimited contract If you want to be part of a unique project in a dynamic stage of development, please send your application to katja.wimmer@neumann- inter.com (ref. nr. 4196)
