Hi
John,
We would
suggest trying LysoSensor Yellow/Blue
DND-160 (L7545). It has a pKa of 4.2
and is useful in the range of 3.5 to 6.0. It actually becomes more
fluorescent with increasing acidity.

Hi Everyone,
I am searching for a good pH sensitive dye to
detect very low pH values (roughly 2-6). I have found CL-NERF has been
used for this purpose before, but molecular probes (now Invitrogen) no longer
manufactures this dye and I can not find any other sources of it. Does
anyone happen to have any of this dye or know where it can be procured?
Alternatively, are there any good suggestions for any other dye that can detect
at these pH values?
Thanks,
John Garner
