Hi,
In preparation for using time-lapse confocal microscopy, I want to have a look-
see at the temporal-spatial dynamics of GFP S. aureus infection in insect
tissue using a compound microscope. I plan to infect a number of insects and
takeout individuals over time to look at how the infection has progressed. In
order to do this, I need to be able to "freeze" the tissue in time, to allow me
to then come back to the tissue some hours later to look at how the GFP S.
aureus infection had progressed.
What is the best technique for preserving tissue, keeping everything as it was
at the time that the tissue was resected?
Any advice is warmly welcomed.
Thank you
Louise
