Greetings,
Can anyone point me to a nice reference comparing the bleaching
times/brightness of the Alexa dyes vs the Atto dyes (in particular Alexa
488 vs Atto 488). I've found many references that use them for storm and
compare their blinking properties but I'm interested in their bleaching
times. They appear to have about the same brightest, so I'm interested in
whether one of them will last longer in a single molecule experiment. I
realize this is very set up dependent laser power objective and so on but
has anyone compared their bleaching under the same conditions?  Can someone
point me towards a reference (or even anecdotal knowledge)...
Thanks

Hi,

Two references I'm aware of that compare properties of fluorophores for
single molecule imaging (including bleaching characteristics):

But I don't think they compare the green Alexa and Atto dyes.
