sub-resolution multicolor fluorescence beads

Dear confocal community,

We are looking for sub-resolution multicolor fluorescence beads for FCS
setup alignment with PSF's
Optional exitation at 405nm, 485nm, 532nm, 640nm, 720nm.
different triple color combinations and 100nm bead size would be great.
Where can we get those?

We have two good choices for this application.

1) For 4 colors in one 0.1 micron bead Cat # T7279 TetraSpeck Beads. http://products.invitrogen.com/ivgn/product/T7279?CID=Search-T7279

"TetraSpeck(tm) 0.1 micron microspheres are stained throughout with four different fluorescent dyes, yielding beads that each display four well-separated excitation/emission peaks-365/430 nm (blue), 505/515 nm (green), 560/580 nm (orange), and 660/680 nm (dark red)."

2) For four colors in separate 0.175 micron beads, Cat # P7220 PS-Speck Microscope Point source kit , blue, green, orange, deep red

"This kit's four ready-to-use 1 mL suspensions contain bright, monodisperse microspheres with excitation/emission wavelengths of 360 nm/440 nm (blue), 505 nm/515 nm (green), 540 nm/560 nm (orange) and 633 nm/660 nm (deep red). The PS-Speck Kit also includes a mounting protocol for the user's convenience and sufficient mounting medium to prepare about 100 slides of each."

As well as invitrogen, also check out Polysciences who have been in the
fluorescent beads biz for decades.

http://www.polysciences.com

They used to produce 'bespoke' particles to your requirements as well, I
assume they still do.
