subtractions/additions to the
YMW
Dear Colleagues,
Unfortunately, some vendors will not be able to bring certain
microscopes that we had previously listed as being available for use
at the Yale Microscopy Workshop this June 9 -11th 2009.
Subtractions:
1) Olympus can not bring their FV1000, but
will bring the FV10i, an automated, self-contained
confocal
2) Leica will not be able to bring their
TIRF system, but Nikon will be bringing theirs.
In addition to the wide array of instruments and software
previously listed as available for use during this free event
(http://microscopy.med.yale.edu/equipment.html), the following will
also be present:
Additions:
Leica TCS Large Scale Imaging
confocal
Nikon AZ100 macroscope coupled with
C1 confocal
CompuCyte iCys laser scanning
cytometer for high content screening
This free event is a combination of symposia, classes and open
access to functional microscopes and analytic software. This workshop
is open to broader scientific community as a forum for emerging
equipment and techniques. Feel free to take advantage of this
opportunity to compare instruments, get advice or try out something
new.
Please see the website for free registration and a schedule of
events. http://microscopy.med.yale.edu/index.html
