Dear listers

We use a spinning disk yokogawa CSU X1 with a camera EM CCD  QuantEM 512 SC
(frame transfer read out)  and in the previous configuration we had a
stripped pattern in low time exposure (5ms, speed : 5000 RPM) due to the
problem of synchronization of the disk speed rotation and the camera
exposure time .

To eliminate this artifact we synchronize the camera and the laser with a
trigger cable (camera exposing output) to illuminate the sample only during
the exposure time .

It work  but only with a disk rotation of 5000 RPM.

Anybody know why it work only with this speed ?
Also  I would be thankful if you have any advise / ideas  to optimize this
system.

Thanks

Al  Issulahi
