(Please contact me, in case if you miss the deadline date, we
will try to include your abstracts)
The time has come to inform you that the Multiphoton Microscopy in
the Biomedical Sciences (X) (BO128) conference and other Biomedical
Spectroscopy, Microscopy and Imaging sessions will be held during January 23-28, 2010, as
part of Photonics West organized by SPIE. Please make sure you send your
abstract on or before July 13, 2009.
Ask your students and postdocs to participate in the MP conference poster session competition and your student may win $1000 for the best poster.
This is sponsored by Becker & Hickl, Boston
Electronics, Carl Zeiss, Chroma Tech, Coherent, High Q Laser, JenLab., Leica Microsystems,
Newport-Spectra Physics, Olympus America, and Omega Optical
There will be a one day special session focused on
CARS microscopy.
The other topics includes Multiphoton theory,
instrumentation development, applications in
various biomedical sciences including (not limited)
Neuroscience, developmental biology, cell and molecular imaging, FRET, FLIM,
SHG, FRAP, FCS, ICCS.
Since 2010 is the 10th year of this
successful conference, there will be a special
session on Sunday morning -the Keynote Speakers are Profs. Stefan Hell, Max Planck
Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Department of NanoBiophotonics, Germany; Joseph Lakowicz,
University of Maryland, Baltimore; and Sunney
Xie, Harvard University, Boston.
Come and Join us and learn more about Multiphoton Microscopy and its
Applications in the Biomedical Sciences. There will be a One Day Short Course on Multiphoton Microscopy
