Dear Colin,

any far red dye (emission between 650 and 750) would be suitable. A good example that I use is Cy5.

Simple question from a relative newbie - we are co-injecting mRNA encoding GFP and an oligo into C. elegans and would like to tag the oligo with a fluorophore so we can track its localisation, half-life, etc. Which red tag would be best in combination with GFP?
