I use dental wax. Since we are an EM lab as well as optical we
always have some on a hotplate. It sets pretty much instantly as it cools and does
not seem to harm even the most delicate tissue.

Subject: Sealing the specimen mounted in cargille oils
Hello listers,
I am using Cargille immersion oil for mounting some test targets. I am looking
for a good sealant that does not react with cargille immersion oils. Nail
polish tends to mix with oils as it dries slowly. I am trying to avoid
VALAP because it spreads on the coverslip if scratched accidentally. Is there
something that will dry fast and not mix too much with the immersion oils?
Thanks for suggestions
