In the past I've used rubber cement with success for other samples.  Never tried using it with immersion oil as a mounting medium though....

Nail polish  tends to mix with oils as it dries slowly. I am trying to avoid VALAP because it spreads on the coverslip if scratched accidentally. Is there something that will dry fast and not mix too much with the immersion oils?
