I suggest you have a look at ImageJ (http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/)
For just a viewer that allow you to sift trough folders of images,
have a look at Dimin Viewer (http://dimin.m6.net/software/viewer/). It
is a windows only thumbnail viewer that recognize .stk formats.
