If you have a 5% CO2 gas flow into the chamber, have you tried bubbling it through a small reservoir of distilled water? Tank gas is quite dry. A while back I used that trick in a jerryrigged unit for 24-h. imaging. We have a Tokai-Hit now but have not yet needed it for very long-term imaging.
