I am a bit reluctant to rely on solvents like acetone to remove the glue, though. Does anyone know if the surface coating of standard chroma dichroics would survive acetone treatment?
I think I will go with silicone in the corners and edges of the dichroic / aluminum interface for now. I just hope it's not getting sucked under the glass...
