Hi Michael,

I am glad you didn't get any interferences while using your slides. I have tested extensively some of their multi-chamber slides I got huge reflection not only from the plastic bottom but also from the well walls. It is to be noted that it was tested in confocal and using STED and the high power CW laser could have contributed to that obviously.
They do say that while their bottom is a #1.5, it is not a standard glass. I had some discussions with Ibidi and they were then quite surprised by the results. Still, I have not yet tried a non-standard bottom and would be glad to try them. Nevertheless, if their bottom cover has not triggered problems in your experiments, then maybe you can try 1 or 2 wells slides which have a big cell adhesion surface (no commercial interest!)
ibidi Standard Bottom

The ibidi Standard Bottom, which is our standard surface, is a hydrophilic, foil-like coverslip that forms the bottom of most ibidi μ-Slides, μ-Dishes, and μ-Plates. The Standard Bottom meets all optical requirements for various imaging techniques, such as phase contrast, confocal fluorescence, or two-photon microscopy.

Best,
Myriam
