Hi Lu,
We've done something like this in the past, but with 80nm (IIRC) Au particles embedded in agarose and imaged with a water immersion objective (upright Zeiss LSM 780 NLO, testing alignment of all laser lines). I don't recall that the PSF was as exotic as yours - it looked like an ordinary 'Airy disk' fluorescence PSF.
