If you are only interested in registration you may like to try the Correct3D Drift plugin
(http://fiji.sc/wiki/index.php/Correct_3D_drift).

This is not as sophist acted as the example you gave but will do registration in x,y,z over time.

Is there good 4D image registration algorithm that does not require 3+ fixed points, e.g. not based on fiducial
marks, available. For example, for registration of live embryos during xyzt acquisition? Something alike
