Hi Holly -
There should be no problem with running Metamorph and Micromanager
simultaneously. With very rare exceptions, Micro-manager will run with
the standard drivers provided with the manufacturer. Even if it does
require a special driver, this would have to be installed separately,
and so installing Micro-manager won't touch any of the drivers you are
currently using.
We have a Nikon spinning disk system running both NIS-Elements and
Micro-manager, and we've run several Andor systems under Micro-manager
as well, so I don't think this should be a problem.
