Hi Holly,
Gabor is absolutely correct. There is no harm in installing
Micro-Manager side by side with Metamorph. The only problem I can
imagine is that one of the two would want a different driver version for
a certain piece of hardware . The easiest way forward is to install
Micro-Manager (which will not install drivers by itself) and see if it
works with your hardware,.
Nevertheless, it is possible that the issues your users with the Perfect
Focus are related to the hardware/sample combination rather than the
software.
