    Zeiss sponsored the 1994 Centenary collection (mine print was discarded
    many moves ago) - hopefully someone at Zeiss US or Germany HQ still has
    it (ex. their archives) and they/RMS can get it scanned to PDF. For that
    matter, you could ask the RMS to get you in contact with Peter E.
   
    this is why I look in wikipedia: there is also a J RMS article in 1894
