Works on IE 11 (version 11.0.9600.18426) and FireFox version 48.0.1 on a PC
with Java version 8 update 101.  Doesn't work on Chrome version 52 - gives
the "error processing SSI file" message (I didn't think it would given
Chrome's lack of support for Java).
