Dear Artur,
I have tried many options in the past, but not wanting to get stuck in proprietary formats there is limited choice. In my experience, by far the best solution even comes for free: Personal Backup (
http://personal-backup.rathlev-home.de/index-e.html). First and foremost, it stores the backup in the format of your choice (original or ZIP with or without encryption). But it also lets you customise everything, from date range (older than...) to scheduling (daily, weekly, full, incremental, ...), uses any destination including FTP servers, you can exclude locations and file types, keep or delete the files at origin and much more. You can also use it in command line mode, but I have not tried (needed) that so far. No personal connection, just a happy user.
Best,
Martin
