Prof. Roger sad demise is a great loss to scientific community and
science but he will always fluoresce the scientific community more
brightly with his colorful contribution , May his soul rest in peace

Roger was a great contributor to microscopy and a name that came up in
conversation frequently.
64 is too young to go. He will be sadly missed.
As those of us in that age group and older pass on, the younger generation
of researchers with their different view of living life will have to carry
on.
I hope that they will continue with the same dedication, enthusiasm and
enjoyment of science as us older types have experienced.
