Dear Glen,

Great news!! Now there is no excuse to come up to BC wine country for a visit.  I very much miss our many years of supporting Jim Pawley and the 3D Microscopy of Living Cells Course in Vancouver, BC.  Those 2 weeks each year  rooming with you, Felix Margadant, PC, Steve Cody, and Scott Wetzel won't be forgotten.

Just a quick note that I am retiring from the University of Washington.  I wish to thank everyone on this listserver for their helpfulness in answering my questions and the many informative discussions on microscopy and imaging.  I’ve been subscribed since shortly after PC Cheng set up the server in his lab at SUNY Buffalo for users of the new-fangled confocal instruments.  It created a community that expanded with field.

 My email address will remain active, however any inquiries regarding the Digital Microscopy Center should be directed to my replacement, Kim Miller, [hidden email].  Especially, if you want to use our services :-)!
