Hi Gary,
I don't think it matters whether it is or isn't. FEP tubing has the same
RI as water. If you put BABB inside (RI >1.5) you'll have too much
spherical aberration to see anything clearly. Just re-hydrate the sample
into water and then place it in a microscope-friendly aqueous clearing
solution (RIMs, CUBIC-R, PROTOS, Optiview, SeeDB2, etc.)
