Hi Gary,
The R.I. will be the issue more than the FEP tubing holding up against BABB. If you need something to hold your BABB cleared sample then you should be looking for some kind of boro-silicate glass tubing as this will match up with the BABB a lot better (still not exact but better than FEP would). I know Zeiss were talking up boro-silicate for use on their Z.1 as a way of sealing things like 3DISCO away from the sample chamber/objective. I did track some down to a company in Germany who would sell various diameters and custom size the length for you.

Hi All,
Does anyone know if FEP can stand up to BABB? The obvious test is to put
some tubing in BABB, but the corrosion could be slow enough that I can't
see it, and I don't want to contaminate the objective (lightsheet
application (and I do know this will be an optical nightmare)).
