Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the outright self promotion, however we have developed a tool
that we find extremely useful and I hope that others will too.

SPEKcheck is a browser based tool that allows visualisation of the light
paths of fluorescence microscopes as well as calculation of excitation
and emission efficiencies and brightness. We have just published a paper
on it at https://wellcomeopenresearch.org/articles/3-92/v1 or just jump
straight to our copy at https://www.micron.ox.ac.uk/software/spekcheck/

The code is open source and freely available at
https://github.com/MicronOxford/SpekCheck and can easily be run locally
with lab or facility specific configuration.

Please have a look and see what you think.

Thanks,

Ian
