Hi Ian,
Looks super useful to me too. As always, thanks for your great work in developing tools that help us all out and for your generosity in sharing them with the imaging community. It is greatly appreciated by the majority of us!
All the best,
Alison

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the outright self promotion, however we have developed a tool
that we find extremely useful and I hope that others will too.
SPEKcheck is a browser based tool that allows visualisation of the light
paths of fluorescence microscopes as well as calculation of excitation
and emission efficiencies and brightness. We have just published a paper
on it at
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__wellcomeopenresearch.org_articles_3-2D92_v1&d=DwIBAg&c=JeTkUgVztGMmhKYjxsy2rfoWYibK1YmxXez1G3oNStg&r=RBx0-WJrAO5vwSOLNmFbqYvikvIZS5ns3-USwvMOuLo&m=0vvJMVUq2J298TEWnB0rK4Ca3hjriy8IQguAt6oSVAE&s=vS7R_9HrB_cwEmMshph_eAY6ukzv4JE1N0G92CRLCgI&e= or just jump
straight to our copy at
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.micron.ox.ac.uk_software_spekcheck_&d=DwIBAg&c=JeTkUgVztGMmhKYjxsy2rfoWYibK1YmxXez1G3oNStg&r=RBx0-WJrAO5vwSOLNmFbqYvikvIZS5ns3-USwvMOuLo&m=0vvJMVUq2J298TEWnB0rK4Ca3hjriy8IQguAt6oSVAE&s=MW8xBDucPNZKUxsQk0Q9Tg4ej3xqt6J9O-G7p2o9sUs&e=The code is open source and freely available at
https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__github.com_MicronOxford_SpekCheck&d=DwIBAg&c=JeTkUgVztGMmhKYjxsy2rfoWYibK1YmxXez1G3oNStg&r=RBx0-WJrAO5vwSOLNmFbqYvikvIZS5ns3-USwvMOuLo&m=0vvJMVUq2J298TEWnB0rK4Ca3hjriy8IQguAt6oSVAE&s=l3j1f6zoC0txXdlfMttWzEFhmleqgnQsM1ypR1ctYTw&e= and can easily be run locally
with lab or facility specific configuration.
Please have a look and see what you think.
Thanks,
Ian
