Good afternoon.

I am a student at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine working on my Master's thesis; the topic is expansion microscopy (specifically, I'm using the Protein Retention Expansion Microscopy protocol.)  I want to reach out and see if anyone has previously worked with this technique with cardiac tissue, specifically looking at the connexin proteins in intercalated discs?  I have seen references to the MAP technique being used with heart tissue, but not ProExM. If so, what has been your experiences (successes and failures)?  Also, does anyone have a good protocol for MAP so that I may be able to look at the differences?  Thank you for any help you can give me.
