Hi Joel,
To our knowledge, it is just the hard drives that finally gave up after mechanical wear and tear on our machine. Even if we got a new hard drive, though, we don't have the installation disk for the Leica software and I also assume that specialized drivers need to be installed manually.

I wonder what you mean by "broken down". We had some hard drive problems, but were able to transfer all of the software to a usb flash drive, and then operate our SP2 from there. Now, however, we have a different problem, in that the coarse stage slips and does not reach the correct position for operation.
