Recently, the Zen software failed to launch with "fail to connect to RTC..." message. Resetting did not work. On the monitor, however, 'Real time connection connected..' message appears. It is suspected that the IDE, transcend 128 MB flash module, used to boot may have been corrupted. If a new IDE flash module  is purchased, the program data will have to be written into it. Is there a way of getting the data? Since the model is out of service, local Zeiss rep has expressed inability to extend technical support. It seems such a pity that for the sake of the IDE, the instrument should remain defunct.  We would be indebted for any suggestions to bring the confocal onroad.
