Hi, well, a great answer from Zdenek.
The Zeiss Lightsheet 7 can do both large samples (think cleared mouse brain) and small samples (think small transparent organoid), but you need two completely different stage set-ups.
Bruker simply advises you to purchase two separate systems. Maybe a good idea.

Versatility is not the strong point of a lattice light sheet.
Would I like to have one? Sure, however I think it would be difficult to justify based on the number of samples that could be imaged.

Versatility?
A good microscope should be able to deal with any sample you throw at it, right?
Not so with a lightsheet microscope. You need to decide whether you need large sample volumes (Lavision Ultramicroscope, Zeiss Lightsheet Z.1 - now apparently rebranded as " Lightsheet 7") or high resolution (3i lattice lightsheet or Zeiss "Lattice Lightsheet 7" - how confusing).
If you want both options, you're going to need two separate instruments...
Absolutely zero commercial interest.
Best, zdenek
