I had a few uranium (yellow glass) microscope slides made for use as
fluorescent reference slides.  I no longer need all 3, so I'm offering
the remaining 2 to the first takers.  In return, I'm hoping you'll be
able to test these at least once on a sim scanner or equally intensive
laser spot.  A sim scan is something that purportedly bleaches a plastic
fluorescent reference slide (I couldn't bleach a plastic reference slide
even with a 1 watt laser at 784nm after several hours: the orange slide
melted slightly, but didn't appear to bleach).

Uranium slides, for all intents and purposes, *shouldn't* bleach.  This
particular slide is not as bright as the plastic fluorescence reference
slides (which are often too bright), especially when exciting longer
than 500nm or so, getting progressively dimmer as the wavelengths
progress toward near infra-red.

Please email me privately at [hidden email] if you'd like
a slide.  No strings attached (other than a test like the one stated above).
