valap

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a favorite supplier for valap components?

Thanks in advance,
Nate

Re: valap

Re: valap vaseline/petroleum jelly – local supermarket
lanolin(e) – ditto
paraffin – there is often a range of different paraffins available in people’s labs, pick the type that gives you the consistency you need at room temperature – the type used for wax embedding, which is molten at 60 degrees, is usually fine

You can probably order all components from a major chemical supplier as well, but we use no-name/no-brand vaseline and lanoline and it works fine.

cheers
