Monday December 3, 2012, Multiplex Imaging in Histology workshop - (currently planeed for) Laurence Cooper's building, MDACC (LC's lab is on "South" campus) AM: start with featured talks by: 8:30-9:00am breakfast 9:00-9:05am Greeting / mission & thanks to sponsoring vendors 9:05-9:50am Christian Hennig (webinar, www.chipcytometry.com <redir.aspx?C=fYFbj4BY_Um2O6fSkNM9JfQtdrvtZ89IUHrsGQwlNVOtK_plm_Dti9r9j2ydnWeEU6EHp89aes0.&URL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.chipcytometry.com> - 15plex on web site), 9:50-10:35am Walter Hittelman (MDACC) / Mike Diehl (Rice Univ), reiterative multiplex immunofluorescence by in situ strand displacement. 10:35-11:00am coffee break (since lunch will be 1pm) ... possibly tour nanoscopes? ... possibly brief attendee introductions? 11:00-11:50 Dragan Maric, 10plex/30plex immunofluorescence 12:00-12:50pm Noon talk: Richard Levenson, Multiplex Imaging Clinical Impact, joint with MDACC Pediatrics Ground Rounds 12:50-1:30pm Lunch 1:30-2:10 pm Badri Roysam (U Houston) and Bill Shain (Seattle Childrens) 2:10-2:40pm Peter Lee (City of Hope), 6 color brightfield 2:40-3:00pm coffee break 3:00-4:00pm round table discussions, using "meet the professor" introductions by topic leaders then breakout groups that the Professor would lead, and then "Answer the question" Breakout groups might be (leaders - topics ... tentative plan!): a. Richard Levenson - clinical multiplexing b. Dragan Maric & Peter Lee - specimen preparation and reagent selection c. Tomasz Zal - image acquisition d. Badri Roysam - image analysis 4:00-5:00pm summaries from the breakout groups (15 min each if four groups) 5:00-5:15pm discussion / Q&A, discuss the "deliverables? 5:15-5:20pm wrap. 5:20pm (or earlier in day?) VIP Tour of MDACC's Applied Precision OMX and Vutara SR-200 fluorescence nanoscopes and AM6000/iPulse single cell imaging/laser ablation imaging systems. Tuesday December 4 ... FARSIGHT Toolkit training at Badri Roysam's lab, Univ Houston (probably limited to 10 attendees).
