I mean that the standard ceiling diffusers did not prevent from cold air being blown on you, and after sitting at the microscope >30 minutes one feels really cold! Please advise how other Cores resolved this problem. I alternatively advise to put on not only a labcoat but a winter coat as well, however as spring and warm weather advances people are coming to work in summer clothes more often than winter ones. thanks, Arvydas Director of Microscopy Core SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY, USA >>> Alberto Diaspro <[hidden email]> 3/9/2020 11:42 AM >>> ***** To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__lists.umn.edu_cgi-2Dbin_wa-3FA0-3Dconfocalmicroscopy&d=DwIFAg&c=ogn2iPkgF7TkVSicOVBfKg&r=DtXPX1Vw9uh8rqlCEC9BTBr2oYBP4dEG1ecsgK6l-4k&m=_CM2_ScDNfi39SMngsfHz5uFhrzE4WvQMwEE294S-Kg&s=e7GBqScVGziCzeLzvB2DeIR1ptKJPRtgi3rGBsgTA-A&e= Post images on https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.imgur.com&d=DwIFAg&c=ogn2iPkgF7TkVSicOVBfKg&r=DtXPX1Vw9uh8rqlCEC9BTBr2oYBP4dEG1ecsgK6l-4k&m=_CM2_ScDNfi39SMngsfHz5uFhrzE4WvQMwEE294S-Kg&s=MMBwhcNB1woU2-m2OHJBitbekz3w36HXGwSAtO5trp8&e= and include the link in your posting. ***** Dear friends, Maybe there is some conflict of interest because this email is about a book of mine. It took me 45 minutes to get it (thanks to internet, Google and Paypal ) but it was worth it! The single pity that pictures are not colored (except at the end) so the book is of antique style. But maybe that was an original intention:) I wish you that your book becomes as popular as Richard Feinman's (but likely English edition would be required!) May they stay that way. As I was using my microscope today, I was realizing that I was touching the power-switches, the keyboard, the mouse, the extension cord for a flash drive, the focus control, my glasses, my eyes, and scratching my beard. If you have any thoughts or insights regarding dealing with people, equipment, and coronavirus, please let us all know.
