I see them listed from $18-$331. Can someone please advise a good one? I don't think you can demo these?:) Thanks. -- Best, Gary Laevsky, Ph.D. Director, Confocal Imaging Facility Nikon Center of Excellence Co-Founder, North Atlantic Microscopy Society (NAMS) https://namsmicroscopy.com/ Dept. of Molecular Biology Washington Rd. Like this one: www.ebay.com/itm/Refractometer/274202275859 I bought a couple over past few years (for $30 or so), of course, for that price, I had to fix them (stuck gears or loosened parts, converted to LEDs+battery), calibration is not trivial, so it's a bit of a risk. Both work like a charm! zdenek On Mon, Feb 10, 2020 at 9:48 AM Gary Laevsky <[hidden email]> wrote: > ***** > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy > Post images on http://www.imgur.com and include the link in your posting. > ***** > > Hi All, > > Looking for a good refractometer, for microscopy index purposes (obviously, > but I felt the need to state that?:)). > > I see them listed from $18-$331. > > Can someone please advise a good one? Works great! https://www.atago.net/product/?l=en&f=products-pal-top.php#ABS54635 -Jason ------------------------------------------------------------------- Jason M.
