http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal Does anyone have an idea, how to make a Leica Series out of single Leica-Tif-Images (Leica SP2 & LCS)? I know about the merge-option in the Leica Confocal Software, but there its only possible to add one single image. A painful work if you need to merge hundrets of images... Does anyone have an idea how to do this job? Is it possible to merge more then one tif the same time in the LCS? Is it possible so save a merged series in ImageJ as a Leica Series? Does anyone have a VisualBasics-Macro for that, and is willing to share? Does anyone have another idea? http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal Thanks for the first personal answers! Let me add, that the question is about t-series, and that we need to get Leica-series, because we need to do further analysis in the Leica Confocal Software. Thanks for your help! http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal You could try ImageJ, use File/Import/Image Sequence... to import a sequentially numbered series into a stack. Use the Image/Properties window to set spatial and temporal dimensions. More explanation is in the ImageJ documentations. rsb.info.nih.gov/ij Regards, Glen Glen MacDonald Core for Communication Research Virginia Merrill Bloedel Hearing Research Center Box 357923 University of Washington Seattle, WA 98195-7923 USA (206) 616-4156 [hidden email] ************************************************************************ ****** The box said "Requires WindowsXP or better", so I bought a Macintosh. ************************************************************************ ****** On Dec 4, 2007, at 1:16 AM, Tino Jäger wrote: > Search the CONFOCAL archive at > http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal > > Does anyone have an idea, how to make a Leica Series out of single > Leica-Tif-Images (Leica SP2 & LCS)? > I know about the merge-option in the Leica Confocal Software, but > there its only possible to add one single image. > A painful work if you need to merge hundrets of images... > > Does anyone have an idea how to do this job? > Is it possible to merge more then one tif the same time in the LCS? > Is it possible so save a merged series in ImageJ as a Leica Series? > Does anyone have a VisualBasics-Macro for that, and is willing to > share? > Does anyone have another idea? > > Thanks for your help, > Tino > > > > -- > Dr. Tino Jäger > Department of Neurophysiology Center for Brain Research > Medical University of Vienna Spitalgasse 4, A-1090 Vienna > > Tel: +43-1-4277-62847 > Secr: +43-1-4277-62835 FAX: +43-1-4277-62865 > > http://www.meduniwien.ac.at |

You can also try Image-Pro Plus. The latest version (6.2) has a new feature in the File Open dialog: a check box "Open as Sequence" that will open any selected set of images as a sequence that can be played as a time series in the base product or render as a 3D volume using the 3D Constructor plug-in for Image-Pro Plus. Image-Pro Plus will also automatically import the spatial and and temporal data from each image as standard TIFF properties that will be retained if the sequence is then resaved as a TIFF sequence.

http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal Dear Tino, afaik there is no way in LCS or LAS AF. Maybe Leica can provide a tool, or they can put it at least on their update list. But if, then it will be only implemented in LAS AF since LCS is not supported anymore. Your Leica application specialist should be the first person to ask. What kind of further analysis is necessary? Maybe it can be reproduced in ImageJ after importing. cheers, Michael > Search the CONFOCAL archive at > http://listserv.acsu.buffalo.edu/cgi-bin/wa?S1=confocal > > Thanks for the first personal answers! > Let me add, that the question is about t-series, and that we need to get > Leica-series, because we need to do further analysis in the Leica > Confocal Software. > Thanks for your help! > Tino > > >> Does anyone have an idea, how to make a Leica Series out of single >> Leica-Tif-Images (Leica SP2 & LCS)? >> I know about the merge-option in the Leica Confocal Software, but >> there its only possible to add one single image. >> >> Thanks for your help, >> Tino >> >> >> > > > -- > Dr. Tino Jäger > Department of Neurophysiology > Center for Brain Research > Medical University of Vienna > Spitalgasse 4, A-1090 Vienna > > Tel: +43-1-4277-62847 > Secr: +43-1-4277-62835 > FAX: +43-1-4277-62865 > > http://www.meduniwien.ac.at |
