Both were comparatively stable & bright, even when using STED microscopy. (Still no comparison to FPs in the green, though.) mKate2 and Tag-RFP worked quite well, too. Sorry that is all I can contribute! Nicolai >>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<< Dr. Nicolai T. It's not super bright, but was fine to mark nuclei in an H2B fusion. -Doug On Wed, Aug 29, 2018 at 11:47 AM Gelman, Laurent <[hidden email]> wrote: > ***** > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy > Post images on http://www.imgur.com and include the link in your posting. > ***** > > Dear Anuj, > Sure, thank a lot for the tip! > Best regards, > Laurent. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Confocal Microscopy List <[hidden email]> On > Behalf Of Anuj Sharma > Sent: Monday, August 27, 2018 16:01 > To: [hidden email] > Subject: Re: Infra-Red Fluorescent protein in C. elegans > > ***** > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy > Post images on http://www.imgur.com and include the link in your posting. > ***** > > Hi Laurent, > > We are using mNeptune expressing pan-neuronally in C. elegans, Will that > be useful? > > Best > Anuj > > On Fri, Aug 24, 2018 at 10:07 AM Gelman, Laurent <[hidden email]> > wrote: > > > ***** > > To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: > > http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy > > Post images on http://www.imgur.com and include the link in your > posting. > > ***** > > > > Hi everybody, > > > > Has anyone ever expressed a fluorescent protein emitting in the > > Far-Red in C. elegans? > > > > Many thanks in advance for your help and very best regards, > > > > Laurent. > > > > Laurent Gelman > > Facility for Advanced Imaging and Microscopy Head Light Microscopy > > Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research Maulbeerstrasse > > 66 > > 4058 basel > > Switzerland > > +41 796187369 > > > > > -- > *Anuj Kumar Sharma, Ph.D.* > Staff Scientist > Department of Physics, Princeton University [hidden email]; > [hidden email] > |
