To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy ***** Dear all, in order to synchronise the acquisition with external detectors, I would need to add a delay after each position in a multi point time series using a Leica SP5 confocal microscope. I would like to create a list of positions with the mark and find tool. Then setup a time lapse with the followins sequence: 1. move to next position (position 1 if start of loop) 2. acquire image 3. wait N seconds 4. loop to 1 until all position scanned 5. wait T minutes 6. loop to 1 until all time frames acquired We have the last version of LAS AF compatible with the SP5. Do you know if this is possible? Cheers, Alessandro |

But, i am not sure timing will be precise enough for you.... Better try it with a demo dongle Good luck! The one time I tried, I was not able to combine the find/mark option with the delay. Precision would not be an issue, I can add seconds of delay even if imaging would be slower for this application I do not mind. I'll try tomorrow but if you have a suggestion on how to configure it would be great. I rarely use the Live Data Mode and the "help" button is not that useful. Thanks, Alessandro |

You have to set positions individually and program a delay between them, i think... But i do not remember exactly, there was some time since we did it. If you will still need it on 2.9, i can have a look and let you know!
