The adapter is called a "Series 20 Stage Adapter for Leica Galvo Z Stage (SA-20GALVOZ)". We use it on our Leica TCS SP2, which has an upright stand (DMRXA2). When a voltage is applied the resistors heat up, these can be easily calibrated for the voltage applied vs temperature. I don't know if proper plans were ever made but I can inquire if you or the list is interested. To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy ***** Ekaterina BIoptechs makes numerous micro-environmental systems to fit Galvanic stages. Leica has several models of Z Galvo stages. Hereis a link to some of the possibilities of the integration of a Delta T™ system. http://www.bioptechs.com/Products/Delta_T/DStages/dstages.html (Scroll down to the bottom of the page) There is also our Stable Z System that accommodates standard dishes. It supplies peripheral heat just as any other "stage heater" but it does not induce Z axis drift. If you are using a Galvo stage you are probably already working with narrow depth of field objectives. Therefore, please beware of simple heating plate designs or as they are traditionally known "stage heaters" because they typically induce thermal drift. http://www.bioptechs.com/Products/Stable_Z/Stable_Z.html Bioptechs specializes in accurately identifying your exact needs and matching the most appropriate hardware. Here is a link to our user profile Questionnaire. The answers to these questions tell us what kind of micro-environmental system will best suit your needs. http://www.bioptechs.com/ProfileQuestions.pdf If you are interested, we can connect you with a distributor that services Austria Dan On Jul 4, 2011, at 6:42 AM, Ekaterina PAPUSHEVA wrote: ***** To join, leave or search the confocal microscopy listserv, go to: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A0=confocalmicroscopy ***** Hi All, Does anyone knows a light heating insert that can be used with Z-galvo stage from Leica?
