Dear List,
We've got an old Nikon C1 confocal microscope. Actually, it doesn't work but it contains an AOTF (AOTFnC-400.650, Aaoptoelectronic). I would like to repurpose the AOTF for a custom scope that I am building. Unfortunately, the manufacturer (Aaoptoelectronic) is not obligated to provide the AOTF's software to us. Could anyone guide me how can I run the AOTF or access the software?

Hi Khodi,
I guess the AOTF driver is actually AA MODnC, you can find the details
(including RS232 commands) here:


www.metronixlaser.de/AA-PCAOM-Anleitung.pdf

MicroManager should be able to control these AOTF drivers as well (to some
extent, you probably won't be able to adjust the frequencies, I haven't
tried it myself).

Btw, lucky you, our C1 does not have any AOTF... :-)
