Olympus and Molecular Devices told me that a communication problem occurs between the ZDC2 (autofocus/drift compensator) and MetaMorph when using Windows 10. I am using an IX81.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and come up with a workaround?

Hi.

Just to confirm: the supported 3rd party hardware lists support for IX81 w/ZDC with 64-bit Win 7 until version 7.7.2. MetaMorph below 7.10 is not Win10 compatible.

Hi Mika,

Actually, support for the IX81 with ZDC2 in 64 bits started at 7.7.2. There is no end of support listed for 64 bits. I do not have access to an IX81 with ZDC2 to help troubleshoot, so I won't be able to help further, but definitely it looks like it should work.
