I would like to consistently section the tissue in the range of 100um to 2mm in increments of 100um. However, I can not find a cost-effective tool to do this. Does anyone have a suggestion on a sectioning instrument for my application? Thanks in advance for your help! Best, Paulos Mengsteab |

There are a lot of references on google. Leica has some sofisticated instruments, but other companies also have good working model. Steel knives will not work. Cut with moderately high vibration amplitude and a very slow advance rate (<1.0 mm/sec).
