Most glass bottom plates should be pretty low background. You can further decrease the background by filling the wells with sterile filtered 0.1 M NaOH overnight and then rinsing extensively with 0.2 um filtered water. The COC options are really almost indistinguishable. Here's what we recommend most of the time. Recommended Plates For Imaging: 96 well: Greiner 655090 384 well: Greiner 781091 Best, Casey B. Art no 512-1158. We used Greiner as well which works as well but if you image upside down they are harder to seal properly in our experience.
